Are you searching for a new look? Here is a way to get one without taking scissors to your hair.

Instead, take your scissors and cut up some magazines!

Here is what you do: Cut out eyes, a nose, a fun hairstyle, and even a mustache from old magazines. Stand in front of the mirror and carefully tae up the body parts onto the mirror where your reflection is.

Ta-da! You are a new person!

ALIEN ALERT!

Look who has landed in Stoneybrook! It’s a bird. It’s a

plane. It’s a Martian?

No it’s not, it’s you!

You will need: green face paint, silver face paint, a thin

headband, two green pipe cleaners, small Styrofoam

balls, and green tempera paint

Here is what you do:

1. Start by making your Martian antennae. Tightly

wrap the bottom of each pipe cleaner around the

headband twice. Straighten the top part of each

of the wires to form the antennae.

2. Paint the Styrofoam balls with green paint. Once the paint is dry, stick one ball onto the top of each antennae. [sic]

3. Now use the face paint to paint your face and neck green.

4. Add silver Martian stripes to the side of your face. Draw big silver circles around your eyes.

Now go ask someone to take you to his leader!
